Who requires an Aruba visa?

Nationals of one of the following countries need a visa to travel to Aruba:

The following persons DO NOT require a visa for Aruba:

  1. Holders of a valid return visa for Aruba, the so called “terugkeerbewijs”.
  2. Holders of a valid residence permit for the United States of America, Canada or one of the Schengen countries ( Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and The Czech Republic).
  3. Children under the age of 12 (Twelve) travelling with their parents or legal guardian.
  4. Captains, crew members and passengers whose ship or airplane docks or lands in Aruba for maximum 48 hours, provided there is no threat or danger to national security and/or the public.
  5. Those travelling aboard a cruise ship and visit Aruba as part of the Caribbean itinerary.
