Tourist / Business Visa
- Submit your valid signed national passport.
- Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended stay in Slovenia
- 1 Visa Application Form, completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photograph required
- Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
- Copy of U.S. Alien Registration (GREEN) Card
- A letter from of invitation from a Slovenian citizen or organization based in the Republic of SLOVENIA
- Evidence substantiating the purpose of your trip and your intention of depart from Slovenia after temporary visit
- Employment vertification letter or student status vertification letter
- IF BUSINESS: A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead, and addressed to:Embassy of Slovenia, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
The letter must explain all of the following:
- The nature of business to be performed
- Name and address of company or organization to be visited in Slovenia
- Guarantee financial support and return transportation for the visit.
Time required to issue a visa:
The visa issuing procedure takes some time. Normally, it lasts a few days, but it is possible that the procedure will last longer due to the verification of data in the application or the supporting documents. It is thus important that the visa be applied for in good time, which means at least 4 weeks before the planned departure.Find more information directly at:
