Nigeria Tourist Visa Requirements

On October 01, 2007 the Nigerian Government implemented a two step application process.

Step One
Visa Application Form

Note: Follow the step by step online instructions. Your application must be submitted online and the appropriate Consular fee paid for by credit card online ($112USD). When confirmed, Please print a copy of your “Visa Acknowledgment Slip” “Visa Payment Slip” and Payment receipt from Google Checkout, then mail all three to TDS for processing. Failure to fully complete the visa application form will delay processing the visa.

The embassy will charge $20 processing fee per application or $85 if the application is needed on a rush basis. These fees are to be paid separately through TDS.

Step Two

  • Submit your U.S. Passport (must have at least 6 months remaining validity)
  • Completed application confirmation will be E-Mailed to you from Step One above.
  • 1 passport type photograph (2×2)
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
  • Copy of round-trip airline tickets
  • Copy of hotel confirmation
  • Copy of recent bank statement in your name that indicates sufficient funds for travel.
  • If applicant is staying in a private home a copy of the applicants most recent bank statement AND a Invitation Letter from the host is required.
  • MINORS:
    • Copy of birth certificate of child
    • Signed, notarized letter of consent by both parents.
    • Copies of both parents passports (bio date page)
