How to Apply Bulgaria Visa?

After preparing enough all required documents, applicants can visit the Bulgaria visa application centre to submit their application.

1. Please ensure that you read the Security Regulations carefully and follow mentioned instructions before you visit the Bulgaria Visa Application Centre.
2. Before applying, please ensure you are clear on your ‘purpose of visit’. Do remember our staff will be available to assist and help you through the entire visa application process. However, the staff are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Please go to the link “Know Your Visa Type” for information on the various visa categories.
3. Complete your Visa Application Form or download it here and affix your photograph.
4. Attach all supporting documents, as per checklist. Make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
5. Organise payment of the visa fees in cash (AED)
6. Submit your application at the VFS Global centre in Dubai.
7. At the time of submission at the application centre, you will be informed when would be your appointment for Biometrics scan at the Bulgaria Consulate if needed.

Biometrics scanning is required for applicants 12 years old and above.

After submission of documents at the Visa Application Centre, you can also check the status of your application online, by providing the unique VAC Reference Number and your date of birth. (VAC Reference Number can be found in the invoice-cum-receipt provided at the Visa Application Centre at the time of submission.)

If you have availed the SMS tracking service, you will receive SMS and email alerts, once the processed application is couriered or is ready for collection at the Visa Application Centre. These alerts will be received on the mobile number and email address provided while submitting the visa application.

• Please note that the time for passport collection is from 09:00 to 15:00 from Sunday to Thursday, except weekends and holidays.

During the passport collection at the Visa Application Centre it is required to provide the following:

• Original payment receipt that was provided by the officer during documents submission.
• Original Emirates ID card
