Belarus Private Visit Visa Requirements

Private visit or Home stay visit

  • Submit your valid, signed U.S. Passport (US Re-entry Permits or Refugee Travel Documents are not accepted)
  • 1 Application Forms, (must be fully completed and signed)
  • 1 Recent passport-type photograph
  • If you formerly had USSR or Belarusian citizenship, please submit the documents proving the loss of USSR/Belarusian citizenship
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
  • If applicant is a child under 18 years of age, a copy of child’s birth certificate and copies of parents’ passport main information pages (with passport number, expiration date, photo etc.) have to be submitted.
  • Citizens of the US, Canada, European Union states and some other countries (please, check at the Embassy), who applies for private visa to the Republic of Belarus valid through 30 days or less do not need to provide any letters of invitation. Still, the inviting person’s first and last names and home address must be indicated in the visa application form.
  • Invitation letter for stays over 30 days is required from the local visa office at the Ministry of the Interior in Belarus.Stays of less than 30 days does not require an invitation letter.Your host must obtain this Invitation Letter for you and send the original certificate to you.
