Australia Tourist Visa Requirements

1	A visa is required for travel to Australia. For tourist visits up to 3 months, the traveler must apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). This type of Australian visa application can be submitted on-line.
2	Passport Requirements: For travel to Australia, the traveler must carry an original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, with at least one blank visa page available for stamp(s). Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for stamps. The Australian visa (ETA) is electronic and will not be inside the passport.
3	Special Instructions: Citizens of select countries may obtain an Australian visa electronically. This type of Australia visa is called an ETA. 4	Complete the on-line ETA Request
	Australia Visa Validity: An electronic Australia visa (ETA visa) is generally valid for one year from the date of issue and allows multiple entries with a stay of up to 90 days per visit to Australia.
	Australian Visa Processing Time: An Australian visa application for ETA is generally processed in 48 hours. Same day visa service is available for additional fees.
	Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased until all visas and passports are secured and in your possession.
