Who requires a Jamaica visa?

No Visa Required for:

U. S. Citizens
All visitors including cruise passengers must present a valid passport. No visa is required to enter Jamaica. Together with such other documents which will establish where you will be staying in Jamaica to the satisfaction of the Immigration Officer.

E.U. Members
All visitors must present a valid passport along with any other documents which will establish where you will be staying in Jamaica to the satisfaction of the Immigration Officer. A visa may be issued at the port of entry.

Canadian Citizens
Canadian Residents are required to have a valid passport or a passport which has expired for a period which does not exceed one year and maybe required to have a permanent resident card where applicable. All visitors, 16 years and older, must present a valid passport (or a passport that has expired for a period not exceeding one year provided that Canadian immigration will re- admit such person on the expired passport) or a “Statement of Live Birth” certificate with valid government issued photo ID.

Other countries that do not require visa:
Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela.

The following are landed unconditionally:
• “Unconditionally” endorsed passport holders
• Diplomats with Gratis Visa
• CARICOM passport holders
• United Nations passport holders

Commonwealth Countries
The following Commonwealth countries do not need visas:
Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Cameroon, Canada, Cyprus, Dominica, Fiji Islands, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Swaziland, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, United Kingdom, United Rep. Of Tanzania, Vanuatu, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Commonwealth countries that require visas are: Pakistan, Nigeria and Sri Lanka .

All other countries require visas prior to arrival.
