REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER NIGER
Tourist Visa
- Submit your U.S. Passport with at least three months remaining validity
- 3 Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed
- 3 Passport-type photographs required
- Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Cholera, only if arriving from a neighboring country where an outbreak of the disease has been reported.
- Letter from your bank certifying that the applicant has least $500.00 in his/her saving account (This also applies to travelers who enter Niger by road)
- Copy of round trip airline ticket or itinerary, or letter from travel agent
Business Visa
- Submit your U.S. Passport with at least three months remaining validity
- 3 Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed
- 3 Passport-type photographs required
- Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
- International Certificate of Vaccination for Cholera, only if arriving from a neighboring country where an outbreak of the disease has been reported.
- A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Niger, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
- The nature of business to be performed;
- Name and address of reference to be visited
- Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit.
- The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.
