Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Iceland for tourism or business stays under ninety (90) days.
Most other nationals are required to have a Schengen visa to enter the country.
Non-Canadians must apply IN PERSON at the Danish Embassy or Consulate for the Schengen Zone visa. Visa seekers are advised that they must seek visas directly and in person from the embassy or consulate as they will be interviewed and fingerprinted and biometrically scanned
Non-Canadians must make an appointment directly with the appropriate consulate and attend the IN PERSON interview and fingerprinting. You must contact the consulate for the appointment. The consulate will tell you which documents to bring to your appointment.
Iceland is a signatory of the Schengen area Agreement on border control and visa standardization.

Due to a Nordic representation agreement, the Danish Embassy handles all applications for visa and residence permits for all of the Scandinavian countries.
