For Canadian Visa:

documents and you will be given an interview date which must be for 7.30 or 9.00 a.m. A

Take your Passport to the Visitor’s Visa Section of the American Embassy at 16 Oxford Road any day Monday through Friday between 7.15 and 11.30 a.m, and make an appointment to return the following day for an interview, taking with you:

Completed Visa Application Form (which was given to you the first day)Receipt for the equivalent of U.S.$20 paid by you in J$ at any Branch of NCB Commercial Bank for processing fee
Two (2) colour passport size photographs

Any other proofs of ties in Jamaica and anything pertaining to the purpose of the visit to the U.S.Children 6 years of age and over must appear in person. A parent or legal guardian of each child applying for a visa must appear in person and bring official papers documenting the relationship, such as birth certificates or court documents showing the legal guardianship.
If an applicant qualifies for a visa, it will normally be ready for pick-up the next business day at 3 p.m.
Applicants for student visas must be in possession of a valid, original I-20 Form issued by their school. They must also be able to prove that they have sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses for the first year of study.
Applicants with multiple-entry visas valid for one year or more and which expired within the past 12 months may drop off their passport, along with their fee receipt and completed application, any business day from 7.15 to 11.30 a.m. The visa, if issued, would normally be ready for pick-up in 3-5 working days.

All other applicants:
-must be able to support themself and their dependents;-if desirous of entering the service of an employer, they must produce a work permit.
-should not be a person of unsound mind or mentally defective;
-should not be the subject of a certificate given to the Immigration Officer by a health officer that for medical reasons, it is undesirable for him/her to be permitted to land;
-should not have been sentenced in a foreign country for any extradition crime within the meaning of the Extraditions Acts 1870 and 1906;
-should not be the subject of a deportation order .
-must have a visa unless exempted.
-must have applied for and obtained permission from the Government of Jamaica if entry is desired for other than tourist purposes;
