Citizens of the following countries are not required Venezuela visas to study in the country or when entering as tourists for stays of up to 90 days: Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Dominica, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Grenada, Gibraltar, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Nevis, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Portugal, San Marino, South Africa, Spain, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, United States of America, Uruguay. However, these countries do require a Tourist Entry Card (TEC), which is issued free of charge by an authorized air carrier on presentation of valid air tickets (including return or onward ticket) for stays of maximum 90 days.
A student visa may be required depending on length of course. Applicant must contact the nearest Consulate for detail on this regulation.
