A proper visa is required to travel in Tuvalu. If a person intends to stay in Tuvalu up to 30 days, the visa will be obtained upon arrival at specific authorized ports of entry.
For a Tuvalu tourist visa, the following documents are required:
1. Passport
Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for visa stamps.
2. Proof of Departure
Round-trip airline tickets must be confirmed
3. Financial Requirements
People must show the evidence of sufficient funds to support stay in destination such as pay stubs, traveler’s cheques or most recent bank statement.
Tuvalu visa validity varies depending on the consulates discretion, it is often valid for 3 months.
